Planning and local developments

Hope House

If you are interested in what is going on on the Hope House site, you might want to receive the occasional mailings put out by the developers. The person to contact is Kelly Brown (kellyb@acornpg.org) who can add you to the list of recipients. JJ Rhatigan, the contractors for the upper part of the site, have an online portal where you can view plans etc.  There is a noticeboard part-way up the Shrubbery displaying information about such matters as revised schedules and the projected appearance of the completed development, and they send occasional bulletins. If you want to receive the bulletins, them at hopehouse@jjrhatigan.com.  They hold occasional social events (such as a barbeque in July 2017).  The project manager is currently Paul Willis (pwillis@jjrhatigan.com).

If either set of temporary traffic lights on Lansdown Rd is not working, this can be reported to Sun Traffic Signals (who operate them) on 01202 861618.

Local planning applications

These can be searched on the Council website here. Useful searches are whole postcodes, street names (remember to remove all punctuation such as apostrophes) or, for a broader area, 'Lansdown'.

Planning matters of wider concern are often discusssed in the Bath Newseum and the Bath Heritage Watchdog.
